Someone posted 2 questions late last night. One of them is: WHAT IS PARTNERSHIP (in accounting term)?

A PARTNERSHIP is a type of 'business' entity in which partners share with each other the profits or losses of the business undertaking in which all have invested. A PARTNERSHIP is a nominate CONTRACT between individuals who, in a spirit of cooperation, agree to carry on an 'enterprise'; contribute to it by combining property, knowledge or activities; and share its profits. Partners may have a PARTNERSHIP agreement, or declaration.

1. TRUST your partner that he/she won't 'betray/destroy' the business.

2. ACCEPT your partner's as who he/she is.

3. TOGETHER the partners work and hold on to each other whenever things happen.

I think the above are the main CORE conditions before entering into a PARTNERSHIP, whether it is a 'business' partnership or 'human' partnership.

I hope I get these right. Thanks for making me understand it. I guess the second question is no longer important if I got the first one right. :)

Tiring day. Totally exhausted now. Team building in the office today, from 9am to 5pm.

First session was quite interesting, but unfortunately the second session wasn't at all. Had a speaker came in to talk about team building. We couldn't get his points as he was very long-winded. He took 3 hours to come to a non-related conclusion. Something about what we need to succeed:

However, we had a good laugh half way through his presentation.

Something for us to know.....

A young girl was raped by a man posing as a plain clothes officer ; he asked her to come to the police station when she and her male friend didn't have a driver's license to show. He sent the boy off to get his license and asked the girl to accompany him to the police station. Took her instead to an isolated area where the horrendous crime was committed.

Infact, the law clearly states that between 6pm and 6am, a woman has the right to REFUSE to go to the Police Station, even if an arrest warrant has been issued against her. It is a procedural issue that a woman can be arrested between 6pm and 6am, ONLY if she is arrested by a woman officer and taken to an ALL WOMEN police station. And if she is arrested by a male officer, it has to be proven that a woman officer was on duty at the time of arrest.

It is good for us to know our rights. To what extent it comes of use remains to be seen in any situation. But as they say, knowledge is power. Just thought I'd share this with you.

A 45 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience.

Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?"God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might aswell make the most of it.

After her last operation , she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.

Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"

God replied: I didn't recognize you!

Things happen for a reason. But some of them happen for no apparent reason.

1. Drove from MML Basement 4 to the Shell opposite. Didn't realise my work folder was on top of the boot and it has to come from the worker at Shell. Speechless!!!!

2. At the clinic:
- My I/C was placed on the registration counter after the registration. Scolded the nurse for not calling me. According to her, she did call my name but I guess too soft. Whatever it is, she should have made sure I collect the I/C.

- After seeing the doc, my name was called once again. So I told the nurse that I just came out from the room. She checked and insisted that I heard wrongly previously. How stupid is this? How can I not recognise my own name? Being me, I argued! Hobbes too. hehehhe..

Tiring Sunday.

Cheeky Girl, Hobbes and I watched Menopause The Musical at Actor Studio, BSC this afternoon. It was great but today is the last day of the show. I think most of you have watched it, haven't you?

After BSC, went to MML to meet Attitude Child and straight to Nirwana Jln Telawi, Bangsar for Banana Leaf curry rice. Cheeky Girl had this craving about roasted pork suddenly, and me too. Texted Lion Heart. Apparently I can get nice roasted pork at Grocer Village Bangsar Village. So went there and got some. Can you imagine? Roasted pork and banana leaf? It was a good combination. Have to do a lot of classes tomorrow. I'm GROWING!!!!! :(

At about 6pm, done with our rice. Drove all the way to Starhill to get Cheeky Girl her birthday present. My legs were not set to shop today, so they're screaming badly. Hobbes treated us Haagen Dazs. My favourite ice cream: Brandie Black Cherry. :) Walked to Giodano and Reef after that. Hobbes was looking for jacket for his Uni. Couldn't find. :(

It was 10pm already. We're tired and decided to go home. Yay!!! Finally!!! (Jumping in my heart). Sent Cheeky Girl home first. Hobbes drove and I slept in the car. heehehe Dropped Attitude Child back to MML, returned back to our car and back to Hobbes house. A little hungry that time but we decided not to eat as it's too late.

Reached home and felt like eating. Cooked instant noodle. :P The Korean noodle was given by Tim (Mr Lecturer/twwt). It's delicious. Took pictures of 2 different noodle from overseas. They were totally different and taste so much better than the local's.

Dropped Hobbes home as usual, went straight to MML. Received a call from florist asking what time can they send the flowers to me. (How stupid it is right?) Anyway, got the bouquet after my class.

I gaze around, and I see people and cars. Voices and noises, they are simply irritating. Do they really care what’s happening around them? Well frankly, I don’t! If we have to, there will be a lot to WORRY!

As a person, you are EXPECTED to be responsible in whatever you do. You DO NOT create problems, you DO NOT give troubles, as ‘What goes around comes around’. I had a very busy weekend... and for once, I have to write a long long long entry...

A friend of us, Mr Xman came from Singapore on Friday morning. Hobbes and I woke up at 5 plus that morning, went to fetch him from Pudu station. What an ungodly hour.. Yawn....

Straight to breakfast at Imbi pasar after picking him up. Typical breakfast like hainam tea, half boiled eggs, and buns. Still half asleep. I had to go back to the club to make sure Miracle posters are displayed correctly. Brought them to MML.

Done! Gosh.. It's only 9 plus, still very early for hotel check-in. We decided to go to Starbucks at Bangsar. He bought us coffee and stuff. Thanks again! Met fish lady and went to Bangsar Village II to search for our launch attire, couldn't get what we want. :(

Got a call from my colleague that NIKE is sponsoring clothes for our team and we have RM450 to spend. Yay! Gonna meet him at Subang Parade at 2pm. It was 12ish. Fish lady and Hobbes went off to MML to get Miracle coupons while Mr Xman and I head straight to Eastin to check in. Waited for more than 30 mins for the room.

Met at Hobbes house and to Subang Parade right after that. Reached there at about 2pm. My colleague Jeremy was there selecting the clothes and shoes. Half way selecting, got a call from our boss that NIKE will send the stuff directly to us. Argh!!!!!!!!!

Had to leave for class. We decided to colour our hair for Miracle. Hence went to this saloon recommended by Fish lady at Mutiara Damansara. We had to go in 2 seperate cars. Fish lady was with me, Mr Xman with Hobbes as he had to go back to the hotel to pack.

Time flies.. It's already end of May. It's time for reporting and most importantly is learning the new releases and preparing for launch.

We'll be launching BS, BP, BB & RPM from 11th June to 15th on club basis. In conjunction with MIRACLE 2007 (FF charity event), the other 3 programs (BA, BC & BJ) will be launched on the 16th June Sat at Cineleisure LG floor 3pm onwards. There will be Miracle team challenge too. Nick and I are in-charge of the fillers in between the program. Cracking head now... argh!!

Back to last week, watched Pirates 3 on Sun. Not bad! :)

Heartburn

It's been so long since my last update. Been very busy with classes and body's getting weaker. I was diagnosed with Heartburn.

What is Heartburn?

Heartburn or pyrosis is a painful or burning sensation in the esophagus, just below the breastbone caused by regurgitation of gastric acid. The pain often rises in the chest and may radiate to the neck, throat, or angle of the jaw. Heartburn is also identified as one of the causes of chronic cough, and may even mimic asthma.
Heartburn actually has nothing to do with the heart; it is so called because of a burning sensation of the breastbone, although some heart problems have a similar sensation to heartburn.

The sensation of heartburn is caused by exposure of the lower esophagus to the acidic contents of the stomach. Normally, the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) separating the stomach from the esophagus is supposed to contract to prevent this situation. If the sphincter relaxes for any reason (as normally occurs during swallowing), stomach contents, mixed with gastric acid, can return into the esophagus. This return is also known as reflux, and may progress to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) if it occurs frequently. Peristalsis, the rhythmic wave of muscular contraction in the esophagus, normally moves food down and past the LES and is responsible for ultimately clearing refluxed stomach contents. In addition, gastric acid can be neutralized by buffers present in saliva.

Foods that may cause heartburn:
Alcohol, especially Red wine.
Coffee, tea, cola, and other caffeinated beverages
Sodas (including cola), and other carbonated beverages
Chocolate
Citrus fruits and juices
Tomatoes and tomato sauces (such as pizza and pasta sauce)
Spicy foods
Red pepper (capsicum)
Peppermint and spearmint
Dry foods such as peanuts
Fatty foods such as ice cream
Drugs are also known to cause or trigger heartburn symptoms.
Tobacco products (cigarettes, snuff, etc.)
Cocaine, and especially Meth is known to trigger heartburn.
It can also be psychosomatic, primarily in relation to stress.

Again, had to wake up very early in the morning. Didn't manage to snap picture of the clock as I was blur and sleepy.

Dinner at one of the new seafood restaurant in Cheras. Recommended by Fish Lady. It's a farewell dinner for Mack. Bad service but good food. Price? I think quite pricey.

Watched Jangan Pandang Belakang at Cineleisure The Curve on Sat night. Didn't enjoy it.

First of all, the people. They talked in the cinema. I had to turn back, told the couple off. I felt embarrass for them.. Gosh.. Do they understand the word 'silence'? We are being reminded everytime before the show starts and they still talk! The only reason that I can think of is they don't understand English. So I guess the management should come out with the Malay version one. "Tolong Senyap!"

Secondly, the movie. Lousy!!!

Wasted my time watching it. By the way, watched with Hobbes, Mack, my Mummy, my Mei Mei, and my Daughter. Eiks!!

Lunch at California Pizza Kitchen KLCC. Nice food. All of us except Lyn. We had 2 pizzas, 2 pastas, and 1 Thai crunchy salad as appertizer. Had so much fun there. I was the so called entertainer, clown!! Apparently, according to Hobbes I am a plant. In order for me to be lively, I need sufficient sun. Hiaks! I guess it's the sugar level that made me hyper. hehehe..

Crazy Party And The Drama ...

"I lost my wallet!" I screamed. This happened right before we stepped out the house for a party downtown. Where could my wallet be possibly gone to? Good question huh?

No time to search because we have to be there before 11pm for free entrance. Rush!!! Hobbes had to drive down as I wanted to learn my pump tracks for today's class. Didn't learn though. Moodless! Still thinking about my wallet.. Where was I? What was I doing? When to report to the police? What do I have to do? bla.. bla.. bla..

We didn't make it for the free entrance. We reached there at 11pm sharp. sigh.. Group of us decided to 'open' a bottle of Chivas which cost us RM330. Expensive right? What to do?? Our heads were on the chopping board.. Cut the crap, we had fun and enjoyed the night. It was crazy and happening!
